Tamariki River Rafting + Lake Activity

The perfect mixture of teamwork and solo time! Children will enjoy our popular rafting experience along the Tamariki

River, making their way down the gentle rapids with one of our qualified rafting guides. Then, the option is yours with

kayaking and stand up paddle boarding both on offer! The children can explore the lake at their own pace whether they

are a first-timer or a seasoned pro.

Tamariki River Rafting + Build You Own Raft

Duration: 4 hours Price: $56/pp

Prepare to work together with this package as teamwork is the name of the game! The children will take to the mild but

mighty Tamariki River, making their way down in their raft with one of our qualified guides. Then, prepare to test your

thinking hats as you Build Your Own Raft. This activity requires the team to work together to assemble a raft out of

drums, ropes and sticks then taking the plunge with their vessels into the water as they make their way across the lake.

Tamariki River Rafting + Lake Activity + Build You Own Raft

Duration: 5 hours Price: $60/pp

The ultimate package for those looking to try their hand at everything. One of our experienced raft guides will lead the

journey down the gentle rapids of the Tamariki River. Next, the children will have the choice of stand-up paddle boarding

or kayaking. A good way to break up the adrenaline and take some time to expol re the magnificent lake before your

next challenge. Top it off with the ultimate team-building experience – Build Your Own Raft! With BYOR you can expect

students to think on their feet, work together and assemble their raft, finishing it off with a trip across the lake on their

creations

Total duration

We require you to arrive 15 minutes before your Check-In time to fill out the required documents. Allow two (2) hours for your activity. This includes safety briefings, your one (1) hour activity on the water and time to change before and after the activity.

Suggested clothing

Dri-fit shirt, shorts and lace-up shoes. Bring your own towel and sunscreen. Refrain from wearing jewellery and other valuables. A limited number of wetsuits are available upon request.

Activity includes

• Buoyancy aid, safety helmet, paddles and booties
• Use of changing rooms with shower

Requirement

• Children aged five, six and seven need to have a paying parent or caregiver on the water with them at all time  (One ( 1 ) parent per two ( 2 ) kids aged five to seven ( 5-7 ) ).

Available Add Ons

• Lockers are $2.00 per two hours. Payment via debit/credit card and coins only.
• Note: The Pump Waterfall activity is not an available add on for Tamariki River Rafting.
